1. About this marketplace

Ebike Parts Marketplace connects buyers and sellers of e-bike and e-moto parts in the United States. “Ebike Parts Marketplace,” “we,” and “us” mean the operator of this website. Sellers supply the items and are responsible for their sales. Ebike Parts Marketplace does not own or inspect listed parts, act as the seller, provide installation services, or guarantee a transaction. These terms govern your use of the platform; the buyer and seller are responsible for their separate sale agreement.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18, legally able to contract, and permitted by applicable law to use transaction and account features. Use accurate information and only an account you are authorized to control. Protect your sign-in credentials, report unauthorized access through Help, and do not transfer accounts, impersonate others, or evade restrictions. Business users must have authority to act for that business. Browsing does not verify any user’s age or identity.

3. Seller responsibilities

Only list parts you own or are authorized to sell and can actually deliver. Use your own accurate photos or photos you have permission to use. Describe condition, defects, repairs, modifications, included hardware, model/year compatibility, and part numbers honestly. Do not claim a part fits a bike unless you have a reasonable basis. Disclose relevant battery history and testing limitations. Keep prices, availability, pickup location, shipping cost, handling time, and any additional return promise accurate. No bait prices, duplicate spam, stock you cannot supply, or off-platform links designed to mislead. A “for parts” label does not permit unsafe or prohibited items.

4. Prohibited items and conduct

Do not list complete bikes on this parts marketplace. Stolen, counterfeit, recalled, illegal, or dangerously defective products are prohibited. Do not list swollen, leaking, fire-damaged, water-damaged, or otherwise unsafe batteries, illegal bypass devices, weapons, drugs, personal data, or unrelated services. Do not post sexual content, threats, harassment, hateful abuse, scams, malware, or someone else’s private information. No fabricated reviews, vote manipulation, extortion, credential sharing, harvesting personal data, interfering with the site, or bypassing moderation or access controls.

5. Compatibility, installation, and safety

A listing, rating, or automatic moderation approval is not a safety certification or fitment guarantee. Buyers should verify dimensions, model year, voltage, connectors, condition, and manufacturer guidance before paying. Brakes, suspension, structural parts, wheels, controllers, and batteries can cause serious injury when incompatible, damaged, or installed incorrectly. Use a qualified installer where appropriate. Modifications may affect warranties and legal riding classifications. Sellers must disclose known issues; this section does not excuse misrepresentation or remove rights that law protects.

6. Buying and forming a sale

Review the listing, delivery method, and total, and ask the seller any necessary questions before checkout. Clicking a checkout button alone does not confirm payment. Online orders are confirmed only after payment is verified. Reservations temporarily limit competing checkouts but are not a guarantee of delivery. For pickup paid outside online checkout, agree on the item, price, inspection, and handoff directly with the seller. Do not pay deposits to unknown accounts or send money merely to prove that you are real.

7. Payments, fees, and taxes

When enabled, Stripe processes online payments and connected-seller payouts under its own applicable terms. Card or Link availability depends on the provider. Ebike Parts Marketplace does not store full payment-card or bank details and does not offer escrow. The displayed checkout total is in USD and includes the stated delivery charge. For new online orders, the seller pays an 8% marketplace fee on the final item price, rounded to the nearest cent. Shipping is excluded from that fee. The fee is deducted from seller proceeds, with no additional marketplace buyer fee. The platform pays standard payment processing costs from its revenue; optional connected-account services may carry provider fees. A full order refund returns the full buyer payment and waives the marketplace sales fee. Processing and dispute costs may remain payable by the operator. Previously created orders keep their original fee and payment arrangement. Sellers must comply with applicable tax and reporting duties. Nothing here transfers a tax collection obligation that the law places on the marketplace. Automatic sales-tax calculation is not currently provided.

8. Shipping and pickup

Sellers should dispatch within 7 calendar days of verified payment. Discuss any exception in marketplace messages before buying; orders not marked shipped after 7 days appear in the staff review queue. Sellers must use an appropriate carrier, secure packaging, a correct destination, and valid tracking where shipping is offered. Do not mark an order shipped or collected before the handoff occurs. Lithium batteries and other hazardous goods require carrier-specific compliance; ordinary postage or a shipping option on a listing is not authorization to ship them. Buyers must provide accurate delivery details. For pickup, use a safe public location, inspect the item, and document the handoff in messages. A fulfilled status records the seller’s update and is not independent proof of delivery or buyer acceptance.

9. Cancellations, returns, and refunds

An unpaid online checkout can be canceled from Purchases when the payment provider confirms expiration. After payment, open Purchases → Get help / view case to report non-delivery, a materially different or counterfeit item, damage, or an unsafe part. Preserve the item, packaging, photos, messages, and tracking. The seller has 72 hours to respond; after that, either participant may ask staff to step in. Report a problem as soon as possible, ideally within 72 hours of receipt. That review period does not prevent later reports or remove statutory or payment-provider rights. Sellers must deliver the described item or resolve non-delivery, undisclosed material defects, or material misdescription, including a refund when required. Change-of-mind returns are available only if agreed with the seller or required by law. Document additional return promises in marketplace messages before payment. Staff can request a return with written instructions and a 7-day response deadline. Sellers are responsible for reasonable return shipping when the wrong, materially misdescribed, or defective item was supplied. Return labels are arranged by the seller or staff; the site does not automatically buy labels. Do not return an item until the address, packaging, timing, and shipping payment are agreed; never ship an unsafe battery without lawful carrier arrangements. Sellers can issue a full refund through Seller dashboard → Orders. Bank processing time varies. A listing removal does not itself refund a paid order. These terms do not remove statutory rights, card-network rights, or applicable payment-provider dispute options.

10. Disputes and support

Cases provide a shared record for the buyer, seller, and authorized staff. Staff review both sides, request evidence or a return, and explain their decision. Refund approval is not a completed refund; the owner must execute it and the provider must confirm it. Either participant can appeal a closed case once within 7 days; further concerns can go to Help. Online orders created under the new payment flow do not transfer seller proceeds at checkout. Release requires buyer-confirmed receipt or delivery evidence reviewed by staff, a further 72-hour review period, and no blocking case or account/payment restriction. The owner manually reviews and releases eligible payments; bank payout timing is separate. This is not licensed escrow, insurance, authentication, or a blanket reimbursement guarantee. Older orders may already have transferred funds. Payments made outside site checkout cannot be refunded through the site. We cannot promise a particular resolution deadline. For a pending bank dispute, the provider process takes priority to avoid duplicate reimbursement; share evidence promptly and preserve card-network deadlines. Contact your payment provider promptly for its dispute procedures and deadlines. For immediate danger, contact emergency services rather than relying on this site.

11. Reviews and reputation

Reviews are available to participants in an online order recorded as paid, fulfilled, or refunded. One review per participant per transaction is allowed, with edits for 14 days. A transaction badge means an order record exists, not that we verified item quality or delivery. Be truthful, describe your own experience, and do not publish private information. No purchased feedback, coordinated ratings, retaliation, or demands for benefits in exchange for changing a review. Moderated or removed reviews do not contribute to public ratings. Sellers cannot remove a review simply because it is negative.

12. Content permissions and intellectual property

You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant Ebike Parts Marketplace a nonexclusive, royalty-free permission to store, resize, process, display, and distribute it as needed to operate the marketplace, moderate content, maintain records, and handle reports. This permission does not authorize unrelated sale of your content. You must have the rights needed to post it. Request removal of infringing content through Help with the exact location, the work or right concerned, your authority, and contact information. Do not submit false complaints. Brand names identify products and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.

13. Moderation and account restrictions

Local text and image filters screen public submissions; they can make mistakes and do not detect every prohibited item or statement. The owner and authorized moderators may remove listings, reviews, or profile content, restrict accounts, and retain relevant evidence when reasonably needed for safety, legal obligations, or enforcement. We record moderation actions and provide reasons where practical and lawful. Use Help to appeal and explain the error. Do not repost removed content to evade a decision. Restrictions do not cancel existing obligations to buyers, sellers, or payment providers; access to existing order management and support remains available where technically and legally possible.

14. Privacy and communication

Our privacy notice explains the information the application uses and who can see it. Keep street addresses, identity documents, payment credentials, and other sensitive data out of public profiles and reviews. Use order details only to complete the transaction or handle a legitimate issue, not for unrelated marketing or harassment. Service messages, order status, and support replies may be delivered in the application; email or SMS notifications are not currently promised.

15. Availability and warranties

We work to keep the service available but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access, perfect filtering, accurate third-party descriptions, or successful transactions. To the extent the law permits, the platform is provided as available without additional warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. This is not a disclaimer of a seller’s express promises or any warranty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Responsibility and limits

You are responsible for your unlawful conduct, inaccurate listings, rights violations, and failure to fulfill your sales or purchases. To the extent permitted by law, Ebike Parts Marketplace is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by third-party conduct, compatibility errors, unsafe installation, carrier failures, or outages beyond our reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including fraud or other conduct for which mandatory law preserves liability. These terms do not impose an automatic penalty, grant us permission to take funds without a valid basis, or make you waive nonwaivable consumer rights.

17. Ending use and changes

You may stop using the service and request account closure through Help. Resolve open orders first. Necessary transaction, fraud-prevention, dispute, legal, and backup records may remain after closure as described in the privacy notice. We may change features or these terms; the current version and date are shown here, and material terms changes require renewed acceptance before account activity. Changes do not retroactively remove an agreed return promise or alter the price of an already-paid order.

18. Governing rules and contact

Applicable law and mandatory consumer protections govern. These terms do not require private arbitration or waive participation in a class action. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes; nothing here prevents use of a small-claims court where available. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent lawful. A failure to enforce a provision once is not a permanent waiver. Contact the operator through Help Center. The operator’s legal identity, business contact details, and jurisdiction-specific requirements must be finalized before public commercial launch.

Paid listing promotions

A listing boost is an optional advertising service purchased from Ebike Parts Marketplace, separate from selling the part. The current offer is $10 USD for seven consecutive days, paid once with no automatic renewal. Your explicit promotion checkout acceptance records the offer version. A boost begins after verified payment and gives an active, approved listing priority among matching results in the default Newest first view. Sponsored listings are labeled. Search terms, filters and explicit price sorting still apply. Placement is shared with other boosted listings, and no position, impressions, clicks, messages or sales are guaranteed.

The promotion clock continues if your listing sells, is edited, becomes unavailable, or is removed for a policy violation. Unavailable, restricted or unapproved listings are not promoted. Unpaid checkouts may be canceled from Profile → Boosts. If your listing is ineligible when payment is verified, we request a full refund instead of activating the promotion. Otherwise, refund requests are reviewed through Help with your promotion reference, subject to applicable consumer rights; no automatic prorated refund is promised. Provider processing fees may apply to the operator. Terms changes do not change the purchased duration or price of an existing promotion.

Offers and counteroffers

Offers apply to the item price and the delivery option shown when you submit them. The delivery charge is shown separately and is fixed for that negotiation. An offer or counteroffer is open for 48 hours. The recipient may accept, decline, or counter. The sender may withdraw an unanswered offer. After acceptance, either party may withdraw before checkout starts, and the buyer has 24 hours to start checkout at the agreed price. An accepted offer does not itself complete a purchase, take payment, or reserve the item. The item remains available to other buyers until a checkout starts.

Only one buyer can have an active checkout for an item. Once checkout starts, use the purchase controls to cancel it; offer controls cannot cancel an active payment session. Payment must be verified before an order is considered paid. An expired or canceled checkout ends its associated offer. Completed purchases close other open offers on that item. Changes to listing details, moderation decisions, or account restrictions may invalidate offers. Each buyer may have one open negotiation per listing, with up to five new negotiations for that listing per 24 hours and a limited number of counteroffers. Payment availability depends on the site and seller payment setup. Your statutory rights and the returns and refunds terms continue to apply.
